A Heartfelt Thank You to Camp Caledonia

The Smithers Men's Shed is proud to celebrate a wonderful collaboration that brought comfort, craftsmanship, and community spirit together in one beautiful project.

We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to the Camp Caledonia group for their generous $500 contribution to the Smithers Men's Shed. Their support helped us bring a meaningful project to life—one that will be enjoyed by campers, visitors, and volunteers for years to come.

Benches Built with Purpose

Our members were able to design, build, and install a set of sturdy, handcrafted benches at the camp. These benches aren’t just places to sit—they’re places to gather, reflect, and connect with nature and one another.

Every board was measured with care, every screw driven with pride, and every bench placed with the intention of creating a welcoming space for all who visit the camp. It’s a perfect example of what happens when local organizations come together with a shared vision.

Community at Its Best

This project reflects the heart of what the Smithers Men's Shed is all about: building things that matter, fostering friendships, and giving back to the community. We’re grateful to Camp Caledonia for recognizing the value of our work and for investing in a partnership that benefits so many.
